Preparing for the next General Development Plan (GDP)

Comprehensive, General, and Master Plans are all ways of identifying an overall plan for a local jurisdiction.  Carroll County will soon be embarking on its next General Development Plan in the Fiscal Year 2025.  This plan will cover all the Land Use Article Plan preparation requirements as outlined in section 3-102 as well as economic development potential to meet the county’s needs now and well into the future.  The Economic Development and Land Use Study is currently underway.  Please follow this website as this study develops over the next year.  Also stay tuned for notifications for the next stages of the General Development Plan.
