Carroll County Health Officer Update on Coronavirus
Westminster, MD, Thursday, March 5, 2020 – In Open Session today, Carroll County Health Department Health Officer Ed Singer updated the Board of County Commissioners regarding the coronavirus situation. Although to date, there are no current cases of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, in Maryland, steps are already taking place statewide and locally to keep the public informed.
Accurate information is critical to the community. At this time, the Carroll County Health Department is coordinating with the Carroll County Emergency Management office and other local leaders to plan for a credible, consistent and coordinated communications campaign.
